The Essendon Vet Clinic team would like to welcome everyone to 2012! December was a very busy but exciting month for some of our team members. As you are all probably aware by now, nurse Simone has gone on maternity leave. Simone sends her thanks to the many clients who came to say goodbye during her last few weeks at the clinic and we are anticipating that she will return late this year or early next year. We wish Simone all the best and will be sure to update you all when she has her baby boy.
A pregnant Simone looking well and healthyNurse Bec had a relaxing long weekend away from work and went to a beautiful wedding in the Yarra Valley. Nurse Nicky has been busy moving house. Nicky has now moved to Wyndhamvale so has a little bit more travelling to do to get to work each day but is still a good distance. Dr Seina attended an ultrasound course and has learnt many new ultrasound techniques that we are hoping to implement at the clinic.
In December, we also ran a First Aid seminar at the clinic which was an enormous success with lots of people coming along to learn what to do with their pets in an emergency situation. This seminar has always been one of our most popular seminars and we will definitely be running another one in 2012 so keep your eyes open for your email invite.
We had our Christmas party which was held at Hellenic Republic Restaurant and we all had a fabulous time catching up outside of work and eating the most delicious food ever! Here are a couple of photos from the night.
